Twiddler is a DOM (Document Object Model) style html/xml templater, in Python for Python.
The library was written and is maintained by Chris Withers, at Simplistix. This jottit site is built and maintained by David Keeney.
I just started using Twiddler this weekend (11 Nov 2007), but as I learn it better, I will be adding my own notes to this collection. The pages of today are just cut and pasted from the distribution doc files.
